Expertly crafted, this alloy is a sophisticated blend of boron and iron, designed to meet the highest standards.Depending on the carbon content, boron-iron (boron content: 5-25%) can be categorized into low carbon (C≤0.05% ~ 0.1%,9% ~ 25%B) and medium carbon (C≤2.5%,4% ~ 19%B). Iron boron serves as a potent deoxidizer and boron additive in steelmaking. The introduction of boron to steel significantly enhances its hardenability, enabling it to replace a substantial amount of other alloying elements. Additionally, boron improves the mechanical properties, cold deformation characteristics, welding attributes, and high-temperature performance of steel, even in minimal quantities.
