Silicon Metal is a highly essential industrial product, integral to steel-making, cast iron, aluminum (aviation, aircraft & automobile parts production), silicon optoelectronic devices, and numerous other industries. Often referred to as the 'salt' of modern industries, silicon metal is produced by smelting quartz and coke in an electric heating furnace. With a silicon content of approximately 98%, the remaining impurities include iron, aluminum, and calcium, among others.
Silicon Metal lumps are produced in an electric heating furnace using quartz and coke. The quartz undergoes a redox reaction, transforming into molten silicon liquid. Upon cooling, it solidifies into large primal silicon metal lumps.
These large primal silicon metal lumps are then processed into smaller, more manageable lumps, known as standard size, ranging from 10-100mm.
Silicon Metal is characterized by its silver-gray or dark gray metallic luster, high melting point, excellent heat resistance, high resistivity, and superior oxidation resistance.

2) In the chemical industry, industrial silicon powder serves as a fundamental raw material for the formation of high polymers of organic silicon.
3) Sublimated into monocrystalline silicon, industrial silicon powder is a crucial raw material for integrated circuits and electronic components in high-tech fields.
4) In the metallurgy and foundry sectors, industrial silicon powder acts as an iron base alloy additive and an alloy pharmaceutical for silicon steel, enhancing the steel's hardenability.
5) Silicon Metal is used in the production of high-temperature materials.
