Silicon Manganese Alloy is a remarkable blend of manganese, silicon, iron, and trace amounts of carbon among other elements. This versatile iron alloy boasts widespread applications and ranks second in ferroalloy production output in electric furnaces. The manganese and silicon components exhibit a strong affinity for oxygen. In steelmaking, this alloy's deoxidation results in products with melting points of 1270 ºC and 1327 ºC for MnSiO3 and Mn2SiO4, respectively. The significant benefits include a low melting point, sizable particles, ease of flotation, and excellent deoxidation efficiency. Under comparable conditions, the burning loss rates for manganese and silicon when deoxidized separately are 46% and 37%, whereas it's merely 29% for silicon manganese alloy. The production process involves the simultaneous reduction of manganese ore (including manganese-rich slag), manganese oxide, and silicon dioxide in silica using carbon within submerged arc furnaces.
Our portfolio is rich with products such as ferromanganese, metallic silicon, silicon carbon alloy, cored wire, ferrochrome, silicon manganese alloy, silicon carbide, ferrosilicon, and silicon aluminum barium calcium, as well as silicon barium calcium. We also excel in exporting refractory materials and other metallurgical products, with customization available per client requirements.
Our manufacturing capabilities include a 206 cubic meter blast furnace, two robust 12500 kVA submerged arc furnaces, two 3600 kVA refining furnaces, and four medium frequency electric furnaces, complemented by three cladding line production lines. This setup supports our innovative hot charging and hot mixing systems, ensuring a streamlined one-stop production process for outstanding quality, high yield, and low consumption.
