Introducing our exceptional China Ferro Vanadium Alloy, where precision meets performance, sourced directly from the pinnacle of manufacturing excellence. Our commitment to superior quality and steadfast reliability ensures that this product stands out as the ideal choice for the most challenging industrial applications.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) is a cornerstone of the steel industry, prized for its remarkable versatility and effectiveness. Composed primarily of vanadium and iron, with trace elements of sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum, FeV is expertly crafted through carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or aluminothermic reduction. This indispensable alloy is widely utilized as an additive in producing vanadium-enriched alloy steel and cast iron, as well as in manufacturing robust permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is precisely tailored to meet specific alloy requirements and manufacturing demands, typically ranging from 30% to 80%, with iron completing the composition. FeV alloys are categorized into three primary types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80. Each variant is essential as an additive in the smelting process of both alloy and low-alloy steel. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys, commonly referred to as 'VQ' VAl, play a vital role in the production of titanium alloys.
