Discover the Excellence of Customized FeCr Ferrochromium: Low Carbon Ferro Chrome
Steel production, particularly stainless steel with chromium content ranging from 10% to 20%, is the primary consumer of Ferro Chrome. Our Low Carbon Ferrochrome is meticulously crafted to meet the highest standards in steel manufacturing, ensuring durability and performance.
Ferro-Chrome with less than 56% chrome content, known as 'charge chrome,' is derived from ore with lower chrome concentrations. For specialized applications like engineering steels, High Carbon Ferro-Chrome, produced from premium-grade ore, is preferred due to its superior Cr to Fe ratio and minimal impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, and titanium.
Low-Carbon Ferro-Chrome is indispensable in steel production for adjusting chrome levels without introducing unwanted carbon or trace element variations. It serves as an economical substitute for metallic chrome in super alloys and other specialized melting applications, ensuring cost-effective excellence.
