Our low and medium carbon ferromanganese alloys are essential in the production of special steel, making them indispensable raw materials in the steelmaking industry. In addition, they find significant application in the manufacturing of welding electrodes. High carbon ferromanganese stands out as a superior deoxidizing agent and is also used as an additive for alloy elements in steel-making processes.
Based on the smelting techniques employed, our ferromanganese alloys are classified into two types: electric furnace ferromanganese and blast furnace ferromanganese.
These alloys are further categorized according to their carbon content into three distinct categories:
Low-Carbon Category: This type features a carbon content of no more than 0.7%, making it ideal for applications requiring minimal carbon presence.
Medium-Carbon Category: With a carbon content ranging from greater than 0.7% to 2.0%, this category balances performance and cost-efficiency.
High-Carbon Category: Characterized by a carbon content between 2.0% and 8.0%, this category is perfect for applications demanding higher carbon concentrations.
