When utilizing silicon calcium barium alloy, even half the calcium dosage compared to silicon calcium alloy results in approximately twice the calcium content in the molten steel. Furthermore, the stability of calcium in the steel is markedly enhanced. This proves barium's effectiveness in protecting calcium within molten steel, minimizing calcium oxidation, and achieving optimal calcium treatment.
