Silicon calcium barium alloy is a cutting-edge, highly efficient composite alloy within the prestigious barium series. This alloy serves as a superior deoxidizer and desulfurizer in steelmaking, boasting remarkable dephosphorization capabilities (BaP2, BaP3). Barium plays a crucial role in reducing the vapor pressure of calcium throughout the steelmaking temperature range, thereby enhancing the solubility of calcium in molten steel. Compared to traditional silicon calcium alloy, silicon calcium barium alloy stands out as a calcium source by significantly improving calcium stability in the steel liquid. Even with only half the calcium addition compared to silicon calcium alloy, the calcium content in the steel liquid doubles, thanks to barium's protective effect. This effectively minimizes calcium oxidation, achieving superior calcium treatment in molten steel.
