Customized Silver Gray Silicon Barium Calcium Alloy in Steelmaking Industry Alloy
Our Calcium Silicon Alloy is a meticulously crafted compound of silicon, calcium, and iron, serving as an unparalleled deoxidizer and desulfurization agent. This alloy is a superior alternative to aluminum for final deoxidation, making it indispensable in the production of high-quality steel, special steels, and unique alloys. It is ideal for applications in rail steel, low carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel-base alloys, titanium alloys, and other specialized alloys.
Calcium Silicon Alloys shine as deoxidizers and desulfurizers in the high-grade steel manufacturing process. Both Calcium and Silicon exhibit exceptional chemical affinity for oxygen, with Calcium also strongly binding to sulphur and nitrogen. This affinity ensures the superior quality of steel, with the steel industry utilizing about 90% of global CaSi production.
Our alloy is instrumental in the modification of non-metallic inclusions. Calcium Silicon rigorously controls the shape, size, and dispersion of oxide and sulfide inclusions, significantly enhancing the fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact resistance of the steel products.
