Introducing our premium ferrovanadium, sourced directly from the very heart of manufacturing excellence. This commitment to quality ensures an unmatched standard of reliability and performance, ideal for even the most demanding industrial applications, setting a new benchmark in the industry.
Ferrovanadium, a crucial alloy in the steel industry, is revered for its versatility and effectiveness. Composed primarily of vanadium and iron, it also contains trace amounts of sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. FeV is crafted with precision through carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or via aluminothermic reduction, ensuring a high-quality product. It serves as an essential additive in producing vanadium-enriched alloy steel and cast iron and in the creation of robust permanent magnets, playing a significant role in advanced steel manufacturing.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is tailored precisely to match specific alloy formulations and manufacturing requirements, normally ranging from 30% to 80%, with iron completing the composition. FeV alloys are categorized into three main types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80. Each variant is an indispensable additive in the smelting of both alloy and low-alloy steels. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys, commonly known as 'VQ' VAl, are vital in titanium alloy production, underscoring their critical role in the industry.
