Product Description

Ferro-Chrome with a chrome content dipping below 56% is distinguished as 'charge chrome'. It originates from lower-grade chrome ore. Conversely, High Carbon Ferro-Chrome, derived from superior ore, is predominantly utilized in specialized sectors such as engineering steels where a higher Cr to Fe ratio is vital, and purity levels of elements like sulfur, phosphorus, and titanium are meticulously maintained.

Low-carbon Ferro-Chrome is instrumental in refining chrome percentages in steel production, ensuring stability without increasing carbon or unwanted trace elements. It's a cost-effective substitute for metallic chrome in super alloys and unique melting contexts.
