Here, quartz undergoes a redox reaction to become molten silicon. Upon cooling, this transforms into the solid form we recognize. The initial silicon metal lump emerges in substantial volumes.
These large primal forms are then meticulously crafted into smaller, more manageable sizes, known as standard size Silicon Metal Lumps, ranging from 10-100mm.
