Silicon Metal is a pivotal industrial product crucial for steel-making, cast iron, aluminum (aviation, aircraft & automobile parts production), silicon optoelectronic devices, and numerous other industries. Often dubbed the 'salt' of modern industries, silicon metal is derived from quartz and coke through electric heating furnace smelting. Composed mainly of approximately 98% silicon, the remaining impurities include iron, aluminum, and calcium.
Silicon Metal lumps are produced in electric heating furnaces using quartz and coke. Through the redox process, quartz is converted to molten silicon liquid, which solidifies upon cooling. Initially, the silicon metal lump is quite large. Post-processing,
it is broken down into smaller, standardized lumps ranging from 10-100mm.
Exhibiting a silver-gray or dark gray metallic luster, this metal boasts a high melting point, excellent heat resistance, high resistivity, and outstanding oxidation resistance.
1) Silicon Metal is extensively utilized in refractory materials and the power metallurgy industry to enhance heat resistance, wear resistance, and oxidation resistance.
2) In the realm of organic silicon chemistry, industrial silicon powder serves as a foundational raw material for high polymer organic silicon formation.
3) Industrial silicon powder is sublimated into monocrystalline silicon, which is integral to high-tech fields, serving as a crucial raw material for integrated circuits and electronic components.
4) Within metallurgy and foundry processes, industrial silicon powder is considered a critical additive for iron base alloys and silicon steel pharmaceuticals, thereby improving steel hardenability.
5) Silicon metal is also employed in the production of high-temperature materials.

Our facility boasts a 206 cubic meter blast furnace, two 12500 kVA submerged arc furnaces, two 3600 kVA refining furnaces, four medium frequency electric furnaces, and three cladding line production lines. This setup allows for a streamlined operation process of manganese series hot charging and hot mixing systems, ensuring a one-stop production process characterized by high quality, high yield, and low consumption.
