Silicon manganese alloy, a robust blend of manganese, silicon, iron, with trace amounts of carbon and other crucial elements, stands out in the ferroalloy segment with its extensive application and significant output. It holds a prestigious position as the second most consumed ferroalloy product from electric furnaces. The manganese and silicon components exhibit a strong affinity for oxygen, making this alloy indispensable in steelmaking. The deoxidation products, mnsio3 and mn2sio4, boast melting points of 1270 ºC and 1327 ºC respectively, ensuring low melting points, substantial particle size, effortless buoyancy, and excellent deoxidation impact. Remarkably, the individual burning loss rates of manganese or silicon when deoxidized are 46% and 37%, respectively, whereas manganese silicon alloy achieves a remarkable reduction to 29%. It is meticulously manufactured by simultaneously reducing manganese ore (inclusive of manganese-rich slag) alongside manganese oxide and silicon dioxide within a submerged arc furnace with carbon.
Our distinguished array of primary products includes ferromanganese, metallic silicon, silicon carbon alloy, cored wire, ferrochrome, silicon manganese alloy, silicon carbide, ferrosilicon, and silicon aluminum barium calcium, among others. We excel in exporting refractory materials and other metallurgical commodities, offering bespoke processing based on customer specifications.
Our state-of-the-art facilities comprise a 206 cubic meter blast furnace, dual 12500 kVA submerged arc furnaces, twin 3600 kVA refining furnaces, alongside four medium frequency electric furnaces and three advanced cladding line production lines. This sophisticated setup supports the entire manganese series hot charging and hot mixing operations, culminating in a seamless production process characterized by superior quality, maximum yield, and minimal resource consumption.
