Silicon Metal is a vital industrial product utilized in steel-making, cast iron, aluminum (including aviation, aircraft, and automobile parts production), silicon optoelectronic devices, and various other industries. Often referred to as the "salt" of modern industries, Metal Silicon is produced by smelting quartz and coke in an electric heating furnace. The primary silicon content is approximately 98%, with impurities such as iron, aluminum, and calcium.
Silicon Metal lumps are produced in an electric heating furnace using quartz and coke. Quartz undergoes a redox reaction, transforming into molten silicon liquid. Upon cooling, it solidifies into the large primal silicon metal lump. These large lumps are then processed
into smaller standard-sized lumps, ranging from 10-100mm.
This metallic silicon is silver-gray or dark gray with a metallic luster. It boasts a high melting point, excellent heat resistance, high resistivity, and superior oxidation resistance.
1) Widely used in refractory materials and powder metallurgy industries to enhance heat resistance, wear resistance, and oxidation resistance.
2) In the chemical industry, industrial silicon powder acts as a fundamental raw material for the formation of high polymers of organic silicon.
3) Industrial silicon powder is sublimated into monocrystalline silicon, an essential material widely used in high-tech fields for integrated circuits and electronic components.
4) Within metallurgy and foundry sectors, industrial silicon powder serves as an additive to iron-based alloys and as a pharmaceutical for silicon steel, thereby improving steel hardenability.
5) Used in the production of high-temperature materials.
Our main products include ferromanganese, metallic silicon, silicon carbon alloy, cored wire, ferrochrome, silicon manganese alloy, silicon carbide, ferrosilicon, silicon aluminum barium calcium, and silicon barium calcium. We also engage in exporting refractory materials and other metallurgical products, with custom processing available to meet customer needs.
Equipped with a 206 cubic meter blast furnace, two 12500 kVA submerged arc furnaces, two 3600 kVA refining furnaces, four medium frequency electric furnaces, and three cladding line production lines, our company achieves an integrated operation process for manganese series hot charging and hot mixing, ensuring high quality, high yield, and low consumption in a one-stop production process.
