Silicon Metal is an indispensable industrial product, pivotal for steel-making, cast iron, aluminum (aviation, aircraft & automobile parts production), silicon optoelectronic devices, and many other industries. Often referred to as the 'salt' of modern industries, metal silicon is crafted from quartz and coke via electric heating furnace smelting. The primary silicon content is approximately 98%, with the remaining impurities including iron, aluminum, and calcium.
Silicon Metal lumps are produced in electric heating furnaces using quartz and coke. Quartz undergoes a redox reaction, transforming into molten silicon liquid. Upon cooling, it solidifies into the primary silicon metal lump, which is initially very large. These large lumps are then refined
into smaller sizes, referred to as standard sizes. Silicon Metal Lumps typically range from 10-100mm.
Featuring a silver-gray or dark gray appearance with a metallic luster, Silicon Metal boasts a high melting point, excellent heat resistance, high resistivity, and superior oxidation resistance.
1) Silicon Metal is extensively used in the refractory material and powder metallurgy industries to enhance heat resistance, wear resistance, and oxidation resistance.
2) In the field of organic silicon chemistry, industrial silicon powder serves as a fundamental raw material for creating high polymers of organic silicon.
3) Industrial silicon powder is sublimated into monocrystalline silicon, which is essential in high-tech fields as a key raw material for integrated circuits and electronic components.
4) In metallurgy and foundry, industrial silicon powder is valued as an iron base alloy additive and a pharmaceutical agent for silicon steel, thereby enhancing the hardenability of steel.
5) Silicon metal is crucial in manufacturing high-temperature materials.

We operate with one 206 cubic meter blast furnace, two 12,500 kVA submerged arc furnaces, two 3,600 kVA refining furnaces, four medium-frequency electric furnaces, and three cladding line production lines. This setup enables efficient manganese series hot charging and hot mixing operations, achieving a one-stop production process characterized by high quality, high yield, and low consumption.
