Ferromanganese is meticulously classified into three distinct categories based on the carbon content:

Low-carbon category: Here, the carbon content does not exceed a maximum of 0.7%, making it perfectly suitable for specialized applications that demand precision and finesse.
Medium carbon category: This encompasses a carbon content range from greater than 0.7% up to 2.0%, making it ideal for a diverse array of industrial applications.
High-carbon category: Characterized by a robust carbon content ranging from more than 2.0% to 8.0%, this category is essential for applications requiring exceptional strength and durability.
