Introducing the epitome of industrial excellence: our premium ferrovanadium. Meticulously sourced and crafted from the very heart of manufacturing expertise, this product embodies an unmatched standard of quality and dependability. Ideal for even the most challenging industrial applications, it guarantees performance and reliability that exceed expectations.
Ferrovanadium is an indispensable asset in the steel industry, celebrated for its versatility and effectiveness. Predominantly composed of vanadium and iron, it is enhanced with trace amounts of sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum, creating a robust alloy. The production process involves precise carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or aluminothermic reduction, ensuring top-tier quality. This essential alloy is widely used as an additive in producing vanadium-enriched alloy steel, cast iron, and crafting resilient permanent magnets.
Tailored to meet diverse manufacturing needs, the vanadium content in ferrovanadium typically ranges from 30% to 80%, with the remainder being iron. FeV alloys are categorized into three types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each serving as a vital additive in the smelting of both alloy and low-alloy steels. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys, often known as 'VQ' VAl, are crucial in the production of titanium alloys, underscoring their essential role in advanced metallurgy.
