Silicon Metal is an indispensable industrial product used across various sectors including steel-making, cast iron, aluminum production (aviation, aircraft, and automotive parts), and silicon optoelectronic devices among numerous others. Often referred to as the "salt" of modern industries, silicon metal is produced by smelting quartz and coke in an electric heating furnace. The primary component is silicon, with a content of about 98%, while the remaining impurities include iron, aluminum, and calcium.
Silicon Metal lumps are produced in an electric heating furnace using quartz and coke. Through a redox process, quartz transforms into molten silicon liquid, which solidifies upon cooling. These primal silicon metal lumps are significantly large and are subsequently processed
into smaller, standard-sized lumps measuring 10-100mm.
With a striking silver-gray or dark gray metallic luster, silicon metal boasts a high melting point, excellent heat resistance, significant resistivity, and outstanding oxidation resistance.

5) Silicon metal is crucial for manufacturing high-temperature materials.
Our primary products include ferromanganese, metallic silicon, silicon carbon alloy, cored wire, ferrochrome, silicon manganese alloy, silicon carbide, ferrosilicon, silicon aluminum barium calcium, and silicon barium calcium. Furthermore, we engage in exporting refractory materials and other metallurgical products. Custom processing is available to meet specific customer requirements.
The company operates one 206 cubic meter blast furnace, two 12500 kVA submerged arc furnaces, two 3600 kVA refining furnaces, four medium frequency electric furnaces, and three cladding production lines. This setup ensures a streamlined manganese series hot charging and hot mixing process, enabling high-quality, high-yield, and low-consumption production.
