Silicon Metal is an indispensable industrial product with a wide range of applications, including steel-making, cast iron, and aluminum industries (notably in aviation, aircraft, and automobile manufacturing), as well as in silicon optoelectronic devices and many other sectors. Often referred to as the 'salt' of modern industries, Silicon Metal is produced from quartz and coke through electric furnace smelting. The primary component is silicon with a content of approximately 98%, accompanied by minor impurities such as iron, aluminum, and calcium.
Silicon Metal lumps are crafted in an electric heating furnace from quartz and coke. The quartz undergoes redox reactions, transforming into molten silicon, which solidifies upon cooling. Initially, the silicon metal lumps are quite large before being processed
into smaller, standardized sizes, typically measuring 10-100mm.
This Silicon Metal is characterized by its silver-gray or dark gray hue, a metallic luster, high melting point, excellent heat resistance, high resistivity, and superior oxidation resistance.

3) Industrial silicon powder is sublimated into monocrystalline silicon, which is crucial in the high-tech sector, especially as a raw material for integrated circuits and electronic components.
4) In metallurgy and foundry, industrial silicon powder acts as an additive in iron base alloys and a pharmaceutical for silicon steel, enhancing the hardenability of the steel.
5) Silicon Metal is integral to the production of high-temperature materials.

Our facilities boast a 206 cubic meter blast furnace, two 12500 kVA submerged arc furnaces, two 3600 kVA refining furnaces, four medium-frequency electric furnaces, and three cladding line production lines.
