This remarkable material is also utilized in the production of refractory products, imparting them with outstanding heat shock resistance, compact size, lightweight structure, high strength, and impressive energy-saving capabilities. Low-grade silicon carbide, with approximately 85% SiC content, serves as an excellent deoxidizer, accelerating the steelmaking process, facilitating precise chemical composition control, and elevating steel quality. Furthermore, silicon carbide is widely employed in the manufacturing of silicon carbide rods for electric heating elements, further showcasing its versatility.
