Silicon Metal is an indispensable industrial commodity with extensive applications in steel-making, cast iron, aluminum production (including aviation, aircraft, and automobile parts), silicon optoelectronic devices, and various other industries. Revered as the 'salt' of modern industries, metal silicon is derived from quartz and coke through an electric heating furnace smelting process. The primary component, silicon, comprises approximately 98% of the content, with the remainder consisting of trace impurities such as iron, aluminum, and calcium.
Silicon Metal lump is produced by smelting quartz and coke in an electric heating furnace. This process results in the reduction of quartz to molten silicon, which solidifies upon cooling to form large silicon metal lumps.
These large lumps are then processed into smaller, standard-sized lumps ranging from 10-100mm, known as Silicon Metal Lumps.
Silicon Metal Lumps exhibit a silver-gray or dark gray hue with a metallic luster. They are characterized by a high melting point, excellent heat resistance, high resistivity, and superior oxidation resistance.
1) Silicon Metal is extensively used in refractory materials and the power metallurgy industry to enhance heat resistance, wear resistance, and oxidation resistance.
2) In the chemical industry, industrial silicon powder serves as a fundamental raw material for the synthesis of high polymers in organic silicon.
3) Industrial silicon powder is converted into monocrystalline silicon, a crucial material in the high-tech sector for producing integrated circuits and electronic components.
4) Within metallurgy and foundry sectors, industrial silicon powder is utilized as an iron base alloy additive and a pharmaceutical agent for silicon steel, thereby enhancing the hardenability of steel.
5) Silicon metal plays a vital role in manufacturing high-temperature-resistant materials.
Our primary offerings include ferromanganese, metallic silicon, silicon carbon alloy, cored wire, ferrochrome, silicon manganese alloy, silicon carbide, ferrosilicon, and silicon aluminum barium calcium, among others. We also engage in exporting refractory materials and other metallurgical products. Custom processing services are available to meet specific customer requirements.
Our company boasts a state-of-the-art infrastructure featuring one 206 cubic meter blast furnace, two 12500 kVA submerged arc furnaces, two 3600 kVA refining furnaces, four medium-frequency electric furnaces, and three production lines for cladding. This setup ensures an efficient manganese series hot charging and mixing system, facilitating a one-stop production process characterized by high quality, high yield, and low consumption.
