Its vital role in dephosphorization, utilizing BaP2 and BaP3, underscores its versatility. The strategic inclusion of barium dramatically reduces the vapor pressure of calcium in the steelmaking temperature range, significantly enhancing calcium's solubility in molten steel. When compared to the conventional silicon calcium alloy, our silicon calcium barium alloy offers approximately double the calcium content in the steel liquid with just half the calcium addition. This transformation results in impressively improved stability of calcium in molten steel, providing it with optimal protection against oxidation, and achieving the pinnacle of effective calcium treatment.
