Silicon Metal is a very important industrial product and is essential in steel-making, cast iron production, aluminum manufacturing (including aviation, aircraft, and automobile parts), and silicon optoelectronic devices, among other industries. Known as the "salt" of modern industries, Silicon Metal is produced from high-purity quartz and coke in electric heating furnaces. Its primary component is silicon, with a content of approximately 98%, while the remaining impurities include iron, aluminum, and calcium.
Silicon Metal Lump is produced in an electric heating furnace using high-quality quartz and coke. Through a redox reaction, quartz is transformed into molten silicon liquid, which solidifies upon cooling to form large primal silicon metal lumps.
These primal silicon metal lumps are then broken down into smaller, standardized lumps, typically ranging in size from 10-100mm.
With a silver-gray or dark-gray appearance and a metallic luster, Silicon Metal Lump boasts a high melting point, excellent heat resistance, high resistivity, and superior oxidation resistance.
1) Widely used in the refractory material and powder metallurgy industries to enhance heat resistance, wear resistance, and oxidation resistance.
2) In the chemical industry, industrial silicon powder serves as a fundamental raw material for the formulation of high-polymer organic silicon.
3) Industrial silicon powder is sublimated into monocrystalline silicon, making it indispensable in the high-tech field as a critical raw material for integrated circuits and electronic components.
4) In metallurgy and foundry sectors, industrial silicon powder is esteemed as an additive for iron-base alloys and a pharmaceutical agent for silicon steel, thereby enhancing the hardenability of steel.
5) Silicon metal is also crucial in the production of high-temperature materials.
Our portfolio includes ferromanganese, metallic silicon, silicon carbon alloy, cored wire, ferrochrome, silicon manganese alloy, silicon carbide, ferrosilicon, silicon aluminum barium calcium, and silicon barium calcium, among others. We also specialize in the export of refractory materials and various metallurgical products. Custom processing to meet specific customer requirements is available.
Equipped with a 206 cubic meter blast furnace, two 12,500 kVA submerged arc furnaces, two 3,600 kVA refining furnaces, four medium-frequency electric furnaces, and three cladding line production lines, our facility ensures efficient operations. We have implemented a comprehensive manganese series hot charging and hot mixing system and a one-stop production process that guarantees high quality, high yield, and low consumption.
