Silicon manganese alloy is a meticulously engineered combination of manganese, silicon, iron, and trace elements such as carbon, forming a robust iron alloy. With widespread applications and significant production, it stands as the second most consumed ferroalloy in electric furnace products. The manganese and silicon exhibit an exceptional affinity for oxygen, making them indispensable in steelmaking. The deoxidation products, MnSiO3 and Mn2SiO4, boast melting points of 1270 ºC and 1327 ºC respectively, showcasing advantages like low melting point, substantial particle size, easy buoyancy, and superior deoxidation efficiency. In comparative terms, the standalone deoxidation of manganese or silicon results in a burning loss rate of 46% and 37%, respectively, while the manganese silicon alloy achieves a remarkably lower rate of 29%. This alloy is crafted through the simultaneous reduction of manganese ore (including manganese-rich slag) and manganese oxide with silicon dioxide in silica, utilizing carbon in a submerged arc furnace.
Our diverse product range includes ferromanganese, metallic silicon, silicon carbon alloy, cored wire, ferrochrome, silicon manganese alloy, silicon carbide, ferrosilicon, silicon aluminum barium calcium, silicon barium calcium, among others. We also specialize in the export of refractory materials and various metallurgical products, providing tailored processing solutions to meet specific customer demands.
Equipped with a state-of-the-art infrastructure, we operate one 206 cubic meter blast furnace, two 12500 kVA submerged arc furnaces, two 3600 kVA refining furnaces, four medium frequency electric furnaces, and three advanced cladding line production lines. This setup enables a streamlined manganese series hot charging and hot mixing system, culminating in a seamless one-stop production process characterized by high quality, exceptional yield, and efficient consumption.
