Introducing our exceptional Ferro Vanadium, sourced with precision from the core of the manufacturing epicenter, ensuring unmatched quality and steadfast reliability.
Ferrovanadium, a crucial ferroalloy, is extensively utilized in the steel industry. This potent alloy, composed of vanadium and iron, includes minor impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. Expertly crafted through the carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide via an electric furnace or aluminothermic reduction, this remarkable alloy is essential as an additive in smelting vanadium-infused alloy steel and cast iron, and in creating permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is precisely tailored to meet specific alloy formulations and manufacturing needs. Typically ranging from 30% to 80%, the content is balanced by iron. FeV alloys are classified into three distinct types: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, crucial for smelting alloy and low-alloy steel. In addition, vanadium aluminum alloys play a vital role in producing titanium alloys, often referred to as 'VQ' VAl.
