Presenting our top-tier ferrovanadium, directly sourced from the epicenter of manufacturing excellence, ensuring a superior standard of quality and reliability. Ideal for the most demanding industrial applications, our ferrovanadium sets the benchmark for performance and durability.
Ferrovanadium, a cornerstone in the steel industry, is celebrated for its remarkable versatility and efficacy. This alloy, primarily composed of vanadium and iron, also harmoniously integrates traces of sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. Crafted with precision through carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or by aluminothermic reduction, this indispensable alloy is widely utilized as an additive to produce vanadium-enhanced alloy steel and cast iron, as well as in the creation of robust, permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in our ferrovanadium is meticulously tailored to meet specific alloy formulations and manufacturing needs, typically ranging from 30% to 80%, with iron completing the composition. FeV alloys are categorized into three primary types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each playing a pivotal role as an additive in the smelting of both alloy and low-alloy steel. Further, vanadium aluminum alloys, often known as 'VQ' VAl, are vital in the production of titanium alloys, enhancing their strength and durability.
