Introducing our top-tier ferrovanadium, procured with precision from the core of the manufacturing epicenter, ensuring unmatched excellence in quality and steadfast dependability.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) is a pivotal ferroalloy, widely utilized in the steel sector. This powerful combination of vanadium and iron is enriched with trace impurities like sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. FeV is skillfully crafted either by carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or through aluminothermic reduction. This extraordinary alloy is essential as an alloying element in the smelting of vanadium-rich alloy steel and alloy cast iron, and in the production of permanent magnets.
In ferrovanadium, the vanadium content is carefully tailored to suit specific alloy formulations and manufacturing needs. Typically, the vanadium percentage ranges from 30% to 80%, balanced by iron. FeV alloys are classified into three notable types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each crucial for the smelting of alloy and low-alloy steel. Moreover, vanadium aluminum alloys are fundamental in titanium alloy production, often known as 'VQ' VAl.
