Introducing our exceptional ferrovanadium, carefully sourced from the very core of the manufacturing center, ensuring unmatched quality and steadfast reliability.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) is a crucial ferroalloy extensively used in the steel industry. It comprises a powerful combination of vanadium and iron, with minor impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. FeV is precisely crafted through the carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or by aluminothermic reduction. This extraordinary alloy is vital as an element additive in producing vanadium-infused alloy steel and cast iron, as well as in manufacturing permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is carefully calibrated according to specific alloy formulations and manufacturing needs. Typically, vanadium content ranges from 30% to 80%, balanced by iron. FeV alloys are classified into three distinct types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, all essential in alloy and low-alloy steel production. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys play a crucial role in titanium alloy production, often known as 'VQ' VAl.
