Premium Customized Silicon Calcium Barium for Steel Casting Deoxidizer
Our Silicon Calcium Barium Alloy is a revolutionary composite alloy in the barium series, designed to serve as a highly efficient deoxidizer and desulfurizer in steelmaking. Additionally, it boasts dephosphorization capabilities (BaP2, BaP3). This alloy also acts as an inoculant and modifier in casting, ensuring superior performance and quality.
Barium plays a critical role in minimizing the vapor pressure of calcium within the high-temperature range of steelmaking, significantly enhancing the solubility of calcium in molten steel. Compared to traditional silicon calcium alloys, the silicon calcium barium alloy offers a remarkable advantage: even with half the calcium addition, the calcium content in the molten steel is approximately double that achieved with silicon calcium alloys. This effectiveness is due to barium's protective action against calcium oxidation, which improves calcium stability in the steel, achieving optimal calcium treatment.
