The production of steel, particularly stainless steel containing 10 to 20% chromium, stands as the predominant consumer of Ferro Chrome. This essential component enhances the durability and luster of stainless steel, making it indispensable in various industrial applications.

Ferro-Chrome, with a chrome content under 56%, is termed 'charge chrome,' crafted from lower chrome content ore. Conversely, High Carbon Ferro-Chrome, derived from superior grade ore, is favored in specialized fields such as engineering steels. Here, a high chromium to iron ratio and minimal impurities like sulfur, phosphorus, and titanium are crucial, offering unmatched performance and reliability.

Low-carbon Ferro-Chrome is essential during steel production, precisely adjusting chrome levels without affecting carbon or trace element compositions. It also serves as a cost-effective substitute for metallic chrome in super alloys and other specialized melting endeavors, optimizing both cost and performance.
