Often hailed as the 'salt' of modern industries, metallic silicon is crafted from quartz and coke through electric heating furnace smelting. The primary ingredient, silicon, boasts a high concentration of approximately 98%, with minor impurities such as iron, aluminum, and calcium.
Silicon Metal lumps are birthed from the smelting of quartz and coke in electric heating furnaces. The quartz undergoes a redox process, transforming into molten silicon liquid. Once cooled, this liquid solidifies into large primal silicon metal lumps.
These large silicon lumps are then meticulously processed into smaller, standardized sizes, ranging from 10-100mm, ensuring optimal usability.
