Silicon Metal stands as an invaluable cornerstone in the industrial sector. Its versatility finds utility in sectors such as steel-making, cast iron, and aluminum manufacturing, essential in aviation, aircraft, and automobile part production. Furthermore, it plays a critical role in silicon optoelectronic devices and numerous other industries, earning its reputation as the 'salt' of modern industries. Produced by smelting quartz and coke in an electric heating furnace, silicon metal boasts a silicon content of approximately 98%. The remainder consists of impurities like iron, aluminum, and calcium.

Silicon Metal lumps are meticulously produced in an electric heating furnace using quartz and coke. Quartz undergoes a redox reaction, transforming into molten silicon, which solidifies upon cooling. Initially, these silicon metal lumps are quite large.
Subsequently, they are processed into smaller, standard-sized lumps ranging from 10-100mm, perfectly suited for various industrial applications.

Adorned with a silver-gray or dark gray hue and a metallic luster, Silicon Metal boasts a high melting point, exceptional heat resistance, high resistivity, and outstanding oxidation resistance.
