Ferromanganese From China: Leading Additive for Steel ManufacturingFerromanganese From China: Leading Additive for Steel ManufacturingFerromanganese From China: Leading Additive for Steel ManufacturingFerromanganese From China: Leading Additive for Steel ManufacturingFerromanganese From China: Leading Additive for Steel Manufacturing
Low and medium carbon ferromanganese is a cornerstone in the realm of special steel production, serving as one of the most vital raw materials in the steelmaking process. Additionally, it finds significant application in the production of welding electrodes. High carbon ferromanganese, on the other hand, acts as an essential deoxidizing agent and additive, enriching alloy elements in steel manufacturing.

Based on varied smelting techniques, ferromanganese is classified into two prime categories: electric furnace ferromanganese and blast furnace ferromanganese.
Ferromanganese is further categorized based on its carbon content into three distinct classifications:

Low-carbon category: features a carbon content not exceeding 0.7%;
Medium carbon category: characterized by a carbon content ranging from greater than 0.7% up to 2.0%;
High-carbon category: distinguished by a carbon content ranging from more than 2.0% to 8.0%.
