Introducing our exceptional ferrovanadium, carefully curated from the very core of the manufacturing epicenter, ensuring unmatched excellence and steadfast dependability.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) is a crucial ferroalloy, widely used in the steel industry for its remarkable properties. This alloy, a powerful fusion of vanadium and iron, may contain minor impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. Its production involves the precision of carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or aluminothermic reduction. This exceptional alloy plays an indispensable role as an additive in vanadium-rich alloy steel and alloy cast iron smelting, as well as in the creation of permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is carefully calibrated to align with precise alloy formulas and production needs. Typically, its vanadium content ranges from 30% to 80%, with iron as its complement. FeV alloys are distinguished into three significant types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, all essential in alloy and low-alloy steel smelting. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys are vital in the production of titanium alloys, often referred to as 'VQ' VAl in the industry.
