Introducing our premium ferrovanadium, which is meticulously sourced directly from the heart of the manufacturing hub. We guarantee unparalleled quality and unwavering reliability, ensuring that our product stands out as a leader in the industry.
Ferrovanadium is an essential ferroalloy vital to the steel industry, consisting of a powerful blend of vanadium and iron. While it contains minor impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum, its production is achieved through two sophisticated methods: carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or aluminothermic reduction. This indispensable alloy plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of vanadium-rich alloy steel and alloy cast iron and is essential in crafting permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is precisely adjusted to align with specific alloy formulations and manufacturing needs. Typically, the vanadium content varies from 30% to 80%, balanced by iron. Ferrovanadium alloys are classified into three types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each playing a critical role in the smelting of alloy and low-alloy steel. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys, referred to as 'VQ' VAl, are crucial for titanium alloy production.
