Ferromanganese is classified into three distinct categories based on its carbon content, offering a range of options tailored to specific industrial needs:

Low-carbon category: This classification features a carbon content capped at 0.7%, ideal for applications requiring minimal carbon presence.
Medium carbon category: With a carbon content ranging from greater than 0.7% to 2.0%, this category strikes a balance between strength and flexibility.
High-carbon category: Boasting a carbon content between greater than 2.0% to 8.0%, this variant is perfect for applications demanding increased hardness and strength.
