Introducing our premium Ferrovanadium, a hallmark of manufacturing excellence, directly sourced to guarantee an unmatched standard of quality. This elite product is tailored for the most demanding industrial applications, ensuring both reliability and top-tier performance.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) stands as a cornerstone of the steel industry, celebrated for its remarkable versatility and effectiveness. It is predominantly composed of vanadium and iron while containing trace amounts of sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. Meticulously crafted, FeV is produced through carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace, or by aluminothermic reduction. This indispensable alloy plays a critical role as an additive in producing vanadium-enriched alloy steel and cast iron, as well as in crafting robust permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in Ferrovanadium is precisely adjusted to meet the diverse alloy formulations and manufacturing needs, typically ranging from 30% to 80% with iron completing the balance. Based on vanadium content, FeV alloys are classified into three key types: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80. Each type serves as an essential additive in smelting both alloy and low-alloy steel. Moreover, vanadium aluminum alloys, known as 'VQ' VAl, are vital for titanium alloy production.
