Introducing our exquisite ferrovanadium, sourced with precision and care from the heart of the manufacturing hub, ensuring unmatched quality and steadfast reliability.
Ferrovanadium, a crucial ferroalloy, is indispensable in the steel industry. This powerful alloy consists of a dynamic mix of vanadium and iron, with slight traces of sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. Produced through either carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or aluminothermic reduction, it is vital for adding elements in smelting vanadium-infused alloy steel, alloy cast iron, and creating permanent magnets.
The vanadium concentration in ferrovanadium is precisely calibrated to meet specific alloy compositions and manufacturing needs. Typically, the vanadium content varies from 30% to 80%, balanced by iron. FeV alloys are segmented into three notable types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, essential for smelting alloy and low-alloy steel. In addition, vanadium aluminum alloys, often termed 'VQ' VAl, play a critical role in titanium alloy production.
