Compared to solo manganese or silicon deoxidation with burn loss rates of 46% and 37%, respectively, manganese silicon alloy shines with a mere 29% burn loss. Produced in submerged arc furnaces, it involves reducing manganese ore, rich slag, manganese oxide, and silica with carbon, epitomizing efficient metallurgical craftsmanship.
