Silicon Metal is a pivotal industrial product, extensively used in steel-making, cast iron, aluminum industries (including aviation, aircraft, and automobile parts production), as well as silicon optoelectronic devices and numerous other sectors. Often referred to as the 'salt' of modern industries, Metal Silicon is produced by smelting quartz and coke in an electric heating furnace. The primary component of silicon content is approximately 98%, with minor impurities such as iron, aluminum, and calcium.
Silicon Metal lump is manufactured in an electric heating furnace using quartz and coke. During the process, quartz undergoes redox reactions, transforming into molten silicon liquid. Upon cooling, it solidifies into large primal silicon metal lumps.
These primal silicon lumps are then reduced to smaller, standardized sizes, typically ranging from 10-100mm.
Exhibiting a silver-gray or dark gray hue with a metallic luster, Silicon Metal is known for its high melting point, excellent heat resistance, high resistivity, and superior oxidation resistance.
1) Silicon Metal is extensively utilized in refractory materials and power metallurgy industries to enhance heat resistance, wear resistance, and oxidation resistance.
2) In the chemical sector of organic silicon, industrial silicon powder serves as the fundamental raw material for high polymers of organic silicon formation.
3) Industrial silicon powder is sublimated into monocrystalline silicon, a crucial material in the high-tech field for integrated circuits and electronic components.
4) Within the metallurgy and foundry sectors, industrial silicon powder is valued as an additive to iron base alloys and silicon steel pharmaceuticals, thereby improving steel hardenability.
5) Silicon metal is integral to the production of high-temperature materials.
Our primary products include ferromanganese, metallic silicon, silicon carbon alloy, cored wire, ferrochrome, silicon manganese alloy, silicon carbide, ferrosilicon, silicon aluminum barium calcium, and silicon barium calcium. Additionally, we are engaged in the export of refractory materials and other metallurgical products. We offer product processing tailored to customer specifications.
The company boasts one 206 cubic meter blast furnace, two 12500 kVA submerged arc furnaces, two 3600 kVA refining furnaces, four medium frequency electric furnaces, and three cladding line production lines. This sophisticated infrastructure facilitates the manganese series hot charging and hot mixing system, ensuring a seamless one-stop production process characterized by high quality, high yield, and low consumption.
