Presenting our exquisite ferrovanadium, carefully curated from the manufacturing epicenter, ensuring unmatched quality and steadfast reliability.
Ferrovanadium, a crucial ferroalloy in the steel industry, is a robust blend of vanadium and iron, enriched with minimal impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. Crafted through either carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or aluminothermic reduction, this extraordinary alloy is indispensable for incorporating vanadium into alloy steel and cast iron, and for creating permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is precisely tailored to meet specific alloy formulations and manufacturing needs. Typically ranging from 30% to 80% vanadium and balanced by iron, FeV alloys are segmented into three notable types based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each essential for alloy and low-alloy steel production. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys, often termed 'VQ' VAl, play a crucial role in titanium alloy manufacturing.
