Introducing our exceptional high-quality ferrovanadium, a product carefully sourced from the core of the manufacturing industry, ensuring unmatched quality and steadfast reliability for your industrial needs.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) is an essential ferroalloy widely utilized in the steel industry. It features a dynamic mix of vanadium and iron, enriched with trace impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. FeV is meticulously manufactured through either carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or aluminothermic reduction. This extraordinary alloy is crucial as an additive in the smelting processes of vanadium-rich alloy steel and alloy cast iron, and in the creation of permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is precisely calibrated to meet specific alloy formulations and production needs. Generally, the vanadium content in ferrovanadium ranges from 30% to 80%, balanced by iron. FeV alloys are classified into three distinct types according to vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, all essential in alloy and low-alloy steel smelting. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys play a crucial role in titanium alloy manufacturing, commonly known as 'VQ' VAl.
