Introducing our top-tier ferrovanadium, carefully harvested from the epicenter of manufacturing excellence. We promise an unmatched level of quality and consistent dependability, ensuring that each batch meets the highest standards.
Ferrovanadium, a crucial ferroalloy predominantly used in the steel industry, is a powerful amalgamation of vanadium and iron. It contains trace impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. This exceptional alloy is crafted through either carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide using an electric furnace or an aluminothermic reduction process. Essential for the creation of vanadium-infused alloy steel and alloy cast iron, ferrovanadium also plays a pivotal role in the production of high-performance permanent magnets.
The vanadium concentration in ferrovanadium is intricately fine-tuned to suit specific alloy formulas and production needs. Generally, it encompasses vanadium content ranging from 30% to 80%, complemented by iron. The FeV alloys are classified into FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each crucial for the processing of alloy and low-alloy steel. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys are vital in the manufacture of titanium alloys, commonly known as 'VQ' VAl.
