With barium's inclusion, the vapor pressure of calcium is significantly reduced across the steelmaking temperature range, dramatically enhancing calcium's solubility in molten steel. Compared to conventional silicon calcium alloys, our silicon calcium barium alloy doubles the calcium content in steel with just half the added calcium amount. This innovation leads to remarkable stability, safeguarding the molten steel against oxidation and achieving superior calcium treatment results.
