Introducing our top-tier ferrovanadium, an exceptional product that is carefully procured right from the core of the manufacturing center, ensuring unmatched quality and steadfast reliability.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) is a crucial ferroalloy, widely utilized in the steel industry due to its potent composition of vanadium and iron. It contains minimal impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. This alloy is expertly manufactured through methods like the carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or aluminothermic reduction. Ferrovanadium is an indispensable additive for enhancing vanadium-rich alloy steel and alloy cast iron, and it plays a significant role in the production of permanent magnets.
The vanadium concentration in ferrovanadium is meticulously tailored to meet precise alloy formulations and manufacturing needs. Typically, vanadium content ranges from 30% to 80%, with iron as the balancing element. FeV alloys are classified into three key types based on vanadium levels: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each essential in the production of alloy and low-alloy steel. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys are vital for titanium alloy manufacturing, commonly known as 'VQ' VAl.
