Introducing our exceptional ferrovanadium, meticulously sourced from the core of the manufacturing hub, ensuring unparalleled quality and steadfast reliability. Our dedication to excellence is reflected in every step of the production process, offering you a product that promises to meet and exceed your expectations.
Ferrovanadium (ferrovanadium alloy) is a crucial ferroalloy, widely utilized across the steel industry. This dynamic compound, composed of a robust fusion of vanadium and iron, contains trace impurities such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. The alloy is masterfully crafted either through the carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or via aluminothermic reduction. Its indispensability shines as it serves as a vital element additive in smelting vanadium-rich alloy steel, alloy cast iron, and the production of permanent magnets, playing a pivotal role in enhancing quality and performance.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is precisely calibrated to align with specific alloy formulations and production needs. Typically, the vanadium content in ferrovanadium ranges from 30% to 80%, complemented by iron. FeV alloys are distinctly classified into three categories based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each playing a crucial role in the smelting of both alloy and low-alloy steel. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys are crucial in the production of titanium alloys, often referred to as 'VQ' VAl, underscoring their vital contribution to advanced manufacturing processes.
