By setting a new benchmark in the industry, we affirm our dedication to excellence.
Ferrovanadium stands as a vital alloy in the steel industry, celebrated for its versatile applications and remarkable efficiency. Composed chiefly of vanadium and iron, it is accentuated by trace elements such as sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. Through precise methodologies, ferrovanadium is crafted either via carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace or through aluminothermic reduction, ensuring an end product of outstanding quality. It is indispensable in producing vanadium-enhanced alloy steel, cast iron, and robust permanent magnets, firmly positioning itself as a cornerstone in advanced steel manufacturing.
The vanadium content within ferrovanadium is meticulously tailored to meet specific alloy formulations and manufacturing demands, typically ranging from 30% to 80%, with iron completing the composition. FeV alloys are classified into three principal types based on vanadium concentration: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80. Each variant emerges as a crucial additive in the smelting of both alloy and low-alloy steels. Additionally, vanadium aluminum alloys, often referred to as 'VQ' VAl, play an vital role in titanium alloy production, underscoring their essential contribution to the industry.
