Silicon Metal is an essential industrial product, pivotal in steel-making, cast iron, and aluminum industries (aviation, aircraft, and automobile parts). It's famed as the 'salt' of modern industries. Derived from quartz and coke through electric furnace smelting, it boasts a silicon content of approximately 98%, with impurities like iron, aluminum, and calcium.
Produced in electric heating furnaces using quartz and coke, Silicon Metal lump undergoes a redox process, transforming into molten silicon. Upon cooling, it solidifies into large primary lumps.
These primary silicon metal lumps are then refined into smaller, standard-sized lumps, typically ranging from 10-100mm.
Characterized by its silver-gray or dark gray hue with a metallic luster, Silicon Metal boasts a high melting point, excellent heat resistance, high resistivity, and superior oxidation resistance.
1) Widely used in refractory materials and powder metallurgy to enhance heat resistance, wear resistance, and oxidation resistance.
2) In the chemical sector, industrial silicon powder serves as a fundamental raw material for the high polymers of organic silicon.
3) Sublimated into monocrystalline silicon, it is indispensable in high-tech fields as a raw material for integrated circuits and electronic elements.
4) In metallurgy and foundry, industrial silicon powder acts as an iron base alloy additive and a silicon steel alloy component, enhancing steel hardenability.
5) Crucial for producing high-temperature materials.
Our primary products include ferromanganese, metallic silicon, silicon carbon alloy, cored wire, ferrochrome, silicon manganese alloy, silicon carbide, ferrosilicon, silicon aluminum barium calcium, and silicon barium calcium. We also export refractory materials and other metallurgical products, customizing processes to meet customer needs.
Our infrastructure comprises a 206 cubic meter blast furnace, two 12500 kVA submerged arc furnaces, two 3600 kVA refining furnaces, four medium frequency electric furnaces, and three cladding line production lines. This setup facilitates the manganese series hot charging and mixing system, ensuring a seamless, high-quality, high-yield, and low-consumption production process.
