Introducing our premium ferrovanadium, a true testament to the pinnacle of manufacturing excellence. Carefully sourced from the very heart of industrial prowess, this remarkable alloy guarantees an unmatched standard of quality and reliability, making it the ideal choice for even the most demanding industrial applications.
Ferrovanadium, a critical powerhouse in the steel industry, is celebrated for its versatility and exceptional performance. Comprising primarily of vanadium and iron, this alloy also includes trace amounts of sulfur, phosphorus, silicon, and aluminum. FeV is expertly crafted through the process of carbon reduction of vanadium pentoxide in an electric furnace, or by the aluminothermic method. This indispensable alloy is widely regarded as a vital additive in the production of vanadium-enriched alloy steels, cast iron, and the creation of robust permanent magnets.
The vanadium content in ferrovanadium is meticulously customized to meet specific alloy compositions and manufacturing demands, typically ranging from 30% to 80%, with iron completing the balance. FeV alloys are categorized into three main groups based on vanadium content: FeV40, FeV60, and FeV80, each serving as a pivotal additive in the smelting of both alloy and low-alloy steel. Furthermore, vanadium aluminum alloys, commonly known as 'VQ' VAl, are essential in the production of advanced titanium alloys.
